Basic principles of radar transmitter thermal design :
One of the basic tasks of thermal design is that we need to design a cooling system suitable for the needs of electronic equipment, which can provide a low thermal resistance channel to quickly transfer heat from the heat source to the final heat dissipation environment, so as to meet the reliability requirements of enterprise electronic equipment.

In order to ensure the reliability of radar transmitter, thermal design is always an important step in the whole design process. During thermal design, the radar transmitter shall be combined with the actual radar transmitter itself from the following aspects:

4. The development of cooling system has a good maintainability and convenient operation, maintenance and management.
5. The cooling system shall have a good safety design. Strengthen the design of electrical safety, and the cooling medium used in rotating components shall be hazard free to the operator
6. The designed cooling control system requires good cost performance. Including initial investment, daily operation and long-term maintenance costs.

In the development and design process of cooling system, it is necessary to improve the ability to analyze and solve practical problems, such as thermal design simulation of radar transmitter, air cooling system of phased array radar array, temperature field and flow field simulation analysis of liquid cooling system, etc.
Thermal design software simulation and thermal performance test are two powerful design means in the design process. In the early design and development process, through software component simulation, that is, simulating the similar conditions of cabinet temperature and flow field in the whole cooling system, the liquid flows through the cold plate, the optimization of cooling form is selected for thermal simulation, and the processing of water-cooled plate is entrusted and tested. After that, the thermal simulation can be carried out again in the whole device, The temperature distribution checks whether it meets the actual requirements of the equipment.
