Vacuum diffusion welding process
Vacuum diffusion welding is a welding method that keeps the closely bonded components under a certain temperature and pressure for a period of time in a vacuum environment, so that the atoms between the contact surfaces diffuse to form a connection. Although diffusion welding is a welding process with a long history, it has not developed rapidly until recent years. The weld of this process is invisible to the naked eye, and there is no need to add solder or melt material. Even under the condition of high magnification, it is difficult to observe the crystal phase transition. The characteristics of diffusion welding parts also have the corresponding uniqueness of higher strength, best corrosion resistance and no cross pollution. Many new applications, including energy engineering, semiconductors, tools and aerospace, begin to use this special process because of its many advantages.

Advantages of Vacuum diffusion welding:
1. High joint strength. It is especially suitable for the welding of materials prone to cracks by fusion welding. Since the properties of the base metal are not changed, the chemical composition, microstructure and properties of the joint are the same or close to the base metal, and the joint strength is high.
2. There are many kinds of materials can be used. Diffusion welding can weld a variety of similar metals and alloys, as well as many different materials. If vacuum diffusion welding with transition alloy layer is adopted, heterogeneous or homogeneous materials with great differences in physical and chemical properties and easy to form brittle compounds at high temperature can also be welded.
3. It can be used for the manufacture of parts requiring large-area bonding, laminated members, hollow members, porous members or members with complex internal channels, closed internal assemblies and parts with poor accessibility of other welding methods.
4. Diffusion welding is integral heating, with small component deformation and high dimensional accuracy.
Applications:
Diffusion welding is mainly used for welding small, precise and complex weldments that are difficult to meet the quality requirements of fusion welding and brazing. In recent years, vacuum diffusion welding is more and more widely used in the manufacture of high-power liquid cooling plate . The advantages of small welding deformation and high dimensional accuracy make the liquid cole plate's structural has higher reliability after welding.
