AMD Attempts To Design A Vapor Chamber Heatsink For Ryzen 7000 CPU

    In 2020, AMD began developing new radiator designs for Zen4. The purpose of this concept is to provide a hidden steam chamber inside the radiator. The Zen4 "Raphael" AM5 package maintains the same size as the previous generation Ryzen CPU using AM4 slots. AMD provides compelling reasons to support retaining packaging dimensions, including ensuring compatibility with existing coolers and providing AMD users with a simpler upgrade path.
