Intel Has Officially Abandoned Cryo Cooling Technology
According to Intel's official notice, starting from July 1, 2023, Intel officially abandoned Cryo Cooling cooling technology and will no longer conduct any development. After December 31, 2023, Intel will no longer provide any features, security, or other updates to Cryo cooling technology.
This is a heat dissipation solution that combines software and hardware. By utilizing the characteristics of CPU silicon crystals, the semiconductor refrigeration chip is attached to the surface of the CPU through a customized water-cooled head, and then water-cooled as the other side of the refrigeration chip for heat dissipation. Through active cooling combined with comprehensive design of hardware, firmware, and software, the temperature of the CPU is ultimately reduced, achieving better overclocking performance.
