Qualcomm And MediaTek Begin To Join in AI PCs

   According to the 2024 Work Trends Index report released by Microsoft and LinkedIn, 75% of knowledge workers (such as engineers, programmers, designers, etc.) have already used AI in their work. In the past six months, the number of people using generative AI in their work has doubled, and Microsoft claims that AI will become a key factor in enterprise competitiveness. The CEO of Microsoft stated that AI is becoming increasingly important in the workplace and pointed out that AI can help employees better improve work efficiency.
   As the hardware foundation connecting generative AI and productivity at present, AI PC has also become a "core competitive territory" for many chip manufacturers and OEM brands. Due to the increasing popularity of the field, at the recent 2024 Taipei International Computer Show, traditional chip brands Intel, AMD, and Nvidia can be seen competing around AI, as well as MediaTek and Qualcomm competing to join AI PC. Many terminal manufacturers are also making efforts to apply AI.
