The First Batch Of AMD AM5/SP5 Interface Heatsinks Have Been Exposed
AMD's future desktop processors will be replaced with brand new AM5/LGA1718 interfaces, and the pin shapes of interfaces such as AM4 will be cancelled. Instead, a contact structure similar to Intel will be used on the processor to prevent damage during transportation. The next-generation AMD EPYC Xiaolong processor will also be replaced with an SP5 interface, with up to 6096 pins.
According to the media VideoCards, the renderings of the first batch of AM5 and SP5 interface heatsinks were exposed by the radiator manufacturer Coolserver. These products are mainly aimed at the server market or customized desktop workstations, and are not suitable for DIY installation by general users. The following is the product picture:
