The World's First Fully Liquid Cooled Plate Server Reference Design

On January 18th, Inspur Information and Intel jointly released the world's first fully liquid cooled plate server reference design, which is open to the industry and provides valuable reference templates for the upstream and downstream of the global liquid cooling industry chain, promoting the large-scale deployment and application of advanced fully liquid cooled plate solutions in global data centers, and achieving more green, low-carbon, and sustainable development of data centers. Based on this reference design, Inspur Information has launched a fully liquid cooled plate server, achieving nearly 100% liquid cooled heat dissipation for server components and achieving an extreme level of PUE value close to 1.
According to IDC data, cold plate liquid cooling has become the mainstream of liquid cooling data centers, accounting for 90% of the liquid cooling server market in China. With the advent of the AIGC era, there is a higher demand for the deployment density of various IT resources such as CPU, AIPU, memory, and storage. The traditional air-cooled cooling mode is gradually limited in terms of heat transfer performance and energy consumption optimization. Full liquid cooled plate technology will become an inevitable choice for large-scale, high-density data centers, especially intelligent computing centers.
