CPU Thermal Grease

    CPU working as the heart of electronic equipment, its calorific value is quite amazing and can not be ignored. Generally, the CPU transfers heat to the radiator through thermal conductive grease material, which help to reduce CPU temperature . When the CPU is too hot, the system may face breakdown risk. Therefore, the heat conduction and heat dissipation of CPU becomes particularly important.

     When installing the heatsink module, apply thermal grease or PAD between the heat sink and the CPU chip. Not only to quickly transfer the heat generated by the CPU to the heat sink, but also to increase the thermal contact between the uneven surface of the heat sink and the CPU, and the thermal grease also has a certain viscosity, When the metal shrapnel fixing the heat sink is slightly aged and loose, the heat sink can not be separated from the CPU surface to a certain extent, and keep the heatsink performance.

    Theoretically, the thinner the thermal grease layer is, the better performace under the condition of ensuring that the gap between the CPU and the radiator surface can be filled.The thermal resistance will increase if the thermal grease is too thick.
