      In the process of high-speed operation of motorized spindle motor, internal power loss occurs, which makes the motor heat. Since the motorized spindle motor is installed in the spindle unit housing, the spindle motor cannot directly use the fan for heat dissipation, and the natural heat dissipation conditions are also relatively poor. The investigation results show that when the motor rotates at high speed, the working temperature of the motor rotor is 140 ~ 160 ℃ and the temperature of the stator is 45 ~ 85 ℃. The heat generated by the motor will be directly transmitted to the spindle, causing the spindle thermal deformation and machining error.

     There are two main heat dissipation modes for the motor spindle of engraving machine: liquid cooling and air cooling. When the spindle works, high-speed rotation will produce a lot of heat. If these heat is not dissipated in time, it will have a great impact on the service life of the spindle, and the spindle will be burned in serious cases.

      Air cooling is that the main shaft uses fan to dissipate heat, and its effect is not as good as water cooling; liquid cooling uses liquid circulation to cool the heat generated after the high-speed rotation of the main shaft. This effect will be much better than the air cooling.

There is basically no noise in liquid cooling, but the way of air cooling is very loud.
