       So people designed a radiator, which is a passive heat exchange device used to adjust the temperature of electronic or mechanical devices. The working principle is also very simple, that is, the heat conductor is used to guide the heat from the heat source to the cooling medium (air or liquid coolant), so as to keep the electronic components or mechanical devices within a certain temperature range.

      There are many kinds of computer radiators, simple or complex. During operation, the base plate of the heat sink is in contact with the central processing unit (CPU) and other elements to absorb heat and transfer it to the fins. The fins are in contact with the space or liquid coolant to transfer the heat.

      At present, the manufacturing methods of heatsink include extrusion, skiving, die-casting, machining and so on.       Heat sinks are often made of metal materials, which are arranged from high to bottom according to thermal conductivity, namely silver, copper, aluminum and steel. Silver is rarely used because of its high cost. Therefore, copper and aluminum are used most. Copper has good thermal conductivity, but it has the disadvantages of difficult processing and heavy weight.
