LED Heating and cooling
In recent years, LED technology is known as the next generation lighting technology. With the increase of LED power supply, the cooling problem has attracted more and more attention. Researchers have long observed that the light decline or life of LED is directly related to its bonding temperature. Therefore, if the heat is not smooth, the temperature is high and the life is short.

Causes of LED heating:
The reason for LED heating is that the added power is not converted into light energy, and part of it is converted into heat energy. The indicator light is only 100lm / W, and the electro-optic conversion efficiency is about 20% to 30%. Which means about 70% of electricity is converted into heat.
LED thermal cooling solution:
The LED cooling mainly starts from the heat dissipation of LED chip and LED lamp before and after packaging. LED chip cooling is mainly related to the substrate and circuit selection process:
1. Use aluminum extrusion as part of the shellto increase the cooling area.

2. Use thermal conductive plastic materials to improve the thermal conductivity and heat dissipation capacity of the plastic shell.

3. Use the high-efficiency fan with long service life inside the lamp shell can strengthen cooling, with low cost and good effect.

4. Using heat exchanger technology, the heat in the LED chip is induced to the heat pin of the housing. Street lamps and other large-scale lighting are typical designs.

5. Add a thermal cooling heatsink contacted to the LED heat source , and conduct the heat from LED chip to cooling fins in time, whic is a high efficiency and cost effective solution for most LED causes.

6. The surface of the lamp shell is finished with radiation treatment, which can emit heat from the surface of the lamp shell.

The overall luminous efficiency of LED is low, so the connector temperature is high and the service life is shortened. In order to prolong the service life and reduce the joint temperature, we must pay attention to the problem of heat dissipation.
