Liquid cooling application in Kylin battery

     In the afternoon of June 23, Ningde times officially released ctp3.0 Kirin battery, with its system integration hitting a new high in the world, volume utilization rate exceeding 72%, energy density up to 255wh/kg, and easy to achieve 1000 km endurance of the whole vehicle. Through the world's first large surface water-cooling technology, Kirin battery can support 5-minute fast hot start and 10 minute fast charge.

     Kirin battery redefined the battery structure, integrating the originally independently designed transverse beams, water-cooled panels and heat insulation pads into a multi-functional elastic interlayer, breaking the single function boundary, integrating three effects into one, simplifying complexity, and improving the efficiency of system integration.

      Kirin battery pioneered the large surface cooling technology of the cell, reconstructed the water-cooling system from the essence of heat exchange, placed the water-cooling plate between the large surfaces of the cell, and greatly improved the heat exchange efficiency of the cell. Thanks to large-area water cooling, the temperature control time of the cell is shortened to half of the original, which can more efficiently maintain the cell at the appropriate working temperature, so as to adapt to the fast charging of high current and voltage.

    The innovative design of liquid cooling plate plate structure is a highlight of ctp3.0 Kirin battery. Large area liquid cooling greatly improves the thermal control level of the battery, and is the key to prolong the battery life, support high-voltage fast charging and ensure battery safety. The battery inserts a liquid cold plate into the large-area contact side of the square cell, which increases the cooling area, solves the problem of thermal runaway, and improves the reliability of fast charging. The fast heat dissipation function of the liquid cooling plate also helps the battery meet the high-voltage fast charging. In addition, the liquid cooling plate inserted between the cells can play a buffer role in the expansion process of the battery pack and increase the battery life.
