Microsoft Notebook Cooling Technology

    Recently, the United States Patent and Trademark Office released a patent application from Microsoft regarding a cooling technology for laptop equipment that separates warm and cold air. The patent name is' Device Cooling '
    This patent describes a unique air cooling technology, innovative in its temperature based gas separation component, which absorbs ambient air and separates it into warm and cold air. Warm air is exported from the equipment casing, while cold air is introduced into the equipment casing to cool the heating component.

    The temperature based gas separation component is positioned inside the hinge component of a laptop, expelling warm air from one end and guiding cooler air towards the heating component. The cold air flow generated by this method can be used as cooling air. Compared to ambient air, the cold air flow can provide a greater heat difference at the operating temperature of the heating element, which is beneficial for reducing the air flow rate and energy consumption used for cooling.
