The type of air-cooled radiator
There are three types of air-cooled radiators: passive cooling (no fan design), tower, and down pressure.
1. Passive heat dissipation: It is actually a fanless version of the radiator, which relies on air circulation to take away the heat from the fins. Advantages: No noise at all. Disadvantages: poor heat dissipation performance, suitable for platforms with particularly small heat generation (most of our mobile phones are passive heat dissipation, and even inferior to passive heat dissipation).

2. Press-down heat dissipation: This kind of radiator fan blows downwards, so while taking into account the heat dissipation of the CPU, it can also benefit the heat dissipation of the motherboard and memory sticks. But the heat dissipation effect is slightly worse, and it will disturb the air duct of the chassis, so it is suitable for platforms with low heat generation. At the same time, because it is small and does not take up space, it is the gospel of a small chassis.

3. Tower-type heat dissipation: This kind of radiator is as tall as a tower, hence the name tower-type heat dissipation. This kind of radiator blows unidirectionally without disturbing the air duct, and the fins and fan can be made relatively large, so the heat dissipation performance is the best. But it can't take into account the heat dissipation of the motherboard and the memory, so the fan on the chassis is needed to assist it. In addition, it should be noted that some particularly large tower radiators may block the memory module due to the unreasonable design.
