Thermal design introduction of LED lumps
There have been two major problems perplexing the development of LED lamps: one is cost, the other is heat dissipation. The heat dissipation capacity not only affects the light efficiency of lamps, but also relates to the reliability of lamps. Therefore, it can be said that the heatsink is a key component in LED lamps, and its shape, volume and heat dissipation area should be considered. The size of the heatsink and the working temperature of the LED will affect the luminous efficiency and service life of the lamp. The design of radiator includes the following parts:
1. Confirm the heat dissipation power of LED lamps. Some parameters to be used in the design of radiator include specific heat and thermal conductivity of metal, thermal resistance of chip, thermal resistance of radiator, thermal resistance of surrounding environment, etc.
2. Heat dissipation mode.
3. Confirm the maximum allowable operating temperature of LED lamps.
4. Calculate the volume and heat dissipation area of the heatsink, and determine the shape of the heatsink.
5. Combine the heatsink and LED lamp into a complete lamp, and check whether it meets relevant standards and regulations.
6. The seal of heatsink and lampshade should be waterproof and dustproof, and the rubber mat should be cushions between lampshade and heatsink.

The LED lamp shell is designed as a heatsink shape, and the direct use of the lamp shell as a heatsink can meet the IP protection level and obtain a large heat dissipation area. In addition, the dust-proof effect is better and easy to clean.
