What is the principle of liquid cooling system

     The liquid cooling heatsink has a water inlet and outlet, and there are multiple waterways inside the cooling module , which can give full play to the advantages of water cooling and take away more heat. This is the basic principle of liquid cooling radiator.

Advantages: 

       Since the number of fans is reduced, the vibration and noise generated by the fans are also reduced. The heat dissipation effect is much higher than that of air cooling system.

Disadvantages:

        Require more space due to the large size,

        The price is higher than that of air cooling system.

        structure is more complex than the air cooling system,

        makes the reliability is also poor.

        Liquid leakage may happen if not assemble correctly.

Divided by principle: 

      According to the principle of liquid cooling and heat dissipation, it can be divided into active liquid cooling and passive liquid cooling. In addition to all accessories of water-cooled radiator, active liquid cooling also needs to install cooling fan to assist heat dissipation, which can greatly improve the heat dissipation effect. This water-cooling method is suitable for DIY overclocking players.

Divided by the assembly mode: 

     It can also be divided into built-in liquid cooling and external liquid cooling. For built-in liquid cooling, it is mainly composed of radiator, water pipe, water pump and sufficient water source, which determines that most liquid cooling and heat dissipation systems have a large "volume", which require the larger space for assembly.

   In terms of external liquid-cooled radiator, because its cooling water tank, water pump and other working elements are all arranged outside the chassis, it not only reduces the occupation of space in the chassis, but also can obtain better heat dissipation effect.
