Intel Invests 4.7 Billion To Develop Liquid Cooling Technology

As the CPU performance and the number of cores become more and more powerful, how to dissipate heat is also an important issue. Especially for data center processors, the Xeon power consumption of 50 + cores has reached 400W, and the traditional air cooling method is not enough. For this reason, Intel announced to invest $700 million to develop a new liquid cooling  technology.
