JD Cloud's Fourth Generation Self-developed Server Goes Live

With the rapid development of cloud computing, it has been rapidly popularized in various industries. As the cornerstone of the entire cloud computing operation, servers play a crucial role. Recently, JD Cloud officially announced that the fourth generation self-developed server of JD Cloud has been launched recently, using the fourth generation Intel Xeon scalable processor and innovative system architecture.

In terms of power supply and cooling, adopting a brand new server architecture can improve the overall power efficiency by 3.67%. Using EVAC heat sink and liquid cooling technology can increase the cooling efficiency by 50%. As for the architecture design, adopting modular design, flexible support for pre I/O or post I/O, and tool free maintenance can achieve a material reuse rate of 70%, shorten development cycle by 60%, and reduce development costs by 60%.
With the continuous increase in chip power consumption, the demand for cabinet power consumption has also increased. It is reported that JD Cloud's fourth generation self-developed server has designed a diversified power supply solution.Under the condition of a single cabinet of 20kW, the overall link efficiency is improved by 3.67%, which can save 8500 kilowatt hours of electricity and reduce carbon emissions by 8.7 tons in one year.
