Loop Heat Pipe Achieves 600W Passive Cooling

 On December 21, 2023, PC hardware innovation solution provider Streacom officially released the SG10 project jointly developed with Calyos. SG10 is a high-performance fanless gaming PC chassis that integrates advanced loop heat pipe (LHP) technology. This product aims to break through the limits of fanless technology and provide alternative solutions for traditional water-cooling designs.

The core component of SG10 is the annular heat pipe (LHP) system provided by Calyos, which is a patented solid-state capillary pump evaporator that can introduce pressurized steam flow into the condenser, cool it into liquid in the condenser, and then flow to the evaporator, repeating the cycle in the evaporator. This pressurized airflow increases the efficiency of LHP in removing heat from the heat source by many times and expands the area for convective/radiative heat dissipation.
