Heat sink is an essential part for electronic and mechanical industry, heat sink plays a role as heat exchanger to transfer the heat from heat source and dissipate it by the fins to the air. There are various types of heat sinks, some heat sinks are made from copper and some are made from aluminum alloy, usually the surface finish of aluminum heat sinks is anodizing, so the black anodized aluminum heat sink is the most common heat sink type and widely used in varieties of industries.
What's the benefits from anodization?
Why the aluminum heat sinks need to be anodized? Actually there are several benefits from anodizing, first of all, the anodizing process can put an oxidation layer in the heat sink surface which can effectively prevent the corrosion and can extend the heat sink life, also it can improve the wear resistance of the heat sink, and reinforce the electrical isolation ability of heat sink; Secondly it can improve the surface emmisivity as the anodizing process increased the surface area and texturing.
Usually we will add color dyes when anodizing the heat sinks, the color can be black, blue, gold, silver,etc. Does the color affect the thermal performance? the result is the color is only a visual selection, has no impact on thermal performance.

A: No, we anodize the heat sinks in outside source.
Q: Can I get a free sample for the black anodized aluminum heat sink?
A: If we have stock, it's ok to provide the free sample, but if it's a custom heat sink, the cost need to be charged.
Q: What's your terms of payment?
A: for small orders, 100% need to be paid before material preparing, for production order, 50% deposite need to be paid before production, and the rest need to be completed before shipping.
