How does the skived fin heatsink made for medical device cooling
The skived fin heatsink is made by the skiving process which is mostly used for the heat dissipation of high-power parts. Because it is one-time forming, the strcture is stronge and reaches 100% of the original thermal performance of profiles. it is widely used in high-power motors. Such as photovoltaic inverter, wind power converter, electric vehicle controller, power battery pack and other large radiator parts.

The process of the skived fin heatsink are as below:
1. Cut the appropriate profile according to the cutomized size, and then place the profile on the skiving machine.
2. Set the parameters of the skiving machine tool , such as pitch, fin height, fin thickness and so on.
3. Skiving the profile into fin shape according to the data sheet.
4. Get semi-finished products machining, remove burrs, tap teeth, etc
5. Do the necessary surface treatment according to customer's requirement.

(1) The skiving heatsink has higher fin density to improve the heat dissipation area and heat dissipation performance;
(2) The fin height of skived fin can reach 120mm, which fully meets the production requirements of most radiators;
