Immersion Cooling Fluorinated Liquid
With the rapid growth of IT technology and Internet demand, 5G network, artificial intelligence and industrial Internet will develop rapidly. The traditional refrigeration system has reached the bottleneck, and the ecological liquid cooling technology is taking shape. In order to solve such a high energy consumption problem, the traditional heat dissipation methods of air cooling and water-cooled air conditioning will become ineffective. Only liquid cooling is the fundamental solution.
Data center immersion cooling helps improve its cooling design by immersing it hardware directly in liquid. The heat generated by electronic components is directly and efficiently transferred to the liquid, thus reducing the demand for active cooling components such as thermal conductive interface materials, radiators and fans. These improvements improve energy efficiency while allowing higher packaging density.
The heating part of the server in the immersion cooling cabinet heats the coolant. The hot coolant is pumped to the external radiator through the circulating pump for cooling, and the cooled coolant is recycled to the server cooling cabinet for circulating cooling, so as to ensure that the server is stable in the setting.
Advantages of fluorinated liquid:
1. High efficiency and energy saving: the liquid is in direct contact with all parts of the server, and the heat transfer speed is fast, which can save more than 95% energy.
2. The sound of the ultrasonic dryer is very low.
3. Simple equipment: whether the server is running at 3000kW or 200kW, it can be used compatible.
4. Space saving: it can realize the high-density integration of the server and save more than 80% of the space.
5. No loss of coolant and water: both coolant and cooling water circulate in the system.
Fluorinated liquid is widely used in the cooling system of electronic devices, especially in the computer server system, the submerged heat dissipation medium of high-voltage transformer, the cooling system of electric vehicle battery pack, etc. While improving efficiency, the direct liquid cooling method reduces the cost of all stages of the data center life cycle, including design, construction, operation, hardware maintenance, repair and replacement.
