Tachograph cooling method

       Different from other digital machines, tachograph is a kind of equipment in long-term working state. When all machine components operate together, the heat dissipation performance of the equipment will directly affect the working stability and, in serious cases, the service life of the equipment. Imagine if your car is driving well and suddenly the dash cam crashes, or the chip burns out when you come back from a long distance, it is likely to be related to the heat dissipation performance of the equipment.

        The quality of heat dissipation can be reflected from the inside to the outside of the dash cam, such as the heat dissipation performance of the processor, the heat dissipation design of appearance modeling, and circuit design. Heat dredging is carried out in important hot spots of the equipment to improve the working stability of the equipment.

Shell heat dissipation material:

        Using alloy or plastic materials with good thermal conductivity to produce the shell can speed up the heat dissipation speed of tachograph. Compared with other plastic materials, this thermal design has higher cost, but it is more benefit for the  stable operation and high reliability of the device.

Thermal Conductive Material Application:

      Now more and more tachographs need HD recording function, so the calculation and processing data of the device is large, and the calorific value is relatively large. If the key components are not cooled in time, the recorder will stop recording, restart, or even burn. Therefore, when designing the product structure, the design manufacturers of tachograph will encounter a problem: how to quickly conduct the heat in a narrow and closed space to achieve the heat dissipation effect?

     The thermal conductive material is used to fill the air gap between the heating device and the heat sink or metal base. Their flexible and elastic characteristics enable it to cover very uneven surfaces. The heat is transmitted from the separation device or the whole PCB to the metal shell or diffusion plate, which can improve the efficiency and service life of the heating electronic components.
