       The ecosystem of liquid-cooled servers has basically taken shape. From the perspective of heat dissipation methods, most of them are indirect cold plate type, and the industrial scale is initially formed, but there are also a small number of more innovative immersion types, such as Sugon’s liquid-cooled workstations and Green Revolution Cooling. From the perspective of the industry chain, there are manufacturers specializing in the production of special liquids such as 3M, manufacturers of liquid cooling accessories such as ASETEK, COOLIT, and more liquid cooling server manufacturers CRAY, SGI, BULL, Sugon, Cisco, Huawei, HP, DELL, Super Micro, Tai'an, etc. From the perspective of the applicable chassis size, liquid-cooled blade servers account for the majority, followed by 1U rack servers and tower workstations.  

        For a single server, the use of a liquid-cooled server can efficiently and accurately refrigerate, save energy and reduce consumption, and because the fan is omitted, the noise is very small.  

        For the cabinet, it saves the special air conditioner for the computer room, which is energy-saving, low-noise, and electricity-saving. Moreover, due to the excellent cooling capacity of the liquid-cooled server, more blade servers can be arranged in the unit space and the heat flux density can be increased. In addition, the liquid-cooled server can also enable the server's CPU to achieve overclocking work.  

        For data centers, the use of liquid-cooled servers is even more significant. Although the pump and working fluid circulation system are added, because the entire air conditioning system and the infrastructure layer are omitted, the under-floor air supply and cold and hot channel sealing technology are not required, which can save more costs and electricity bills. And it can accommodate more servers in a unit space, resulting in higher efficiency.  

        In addition, the liquid cooling server can ignore the differences in altitude and region, work normally in any place, and efficiently refrigerate. The special air-conditioning system for the computer room is different. In areas of different latitudes and altitudes, the design must be adjusted in consideration of local conditions.  

       At present, most of the developed cold-plate, indirect liquid-cooled servers. However, from a long-term perspective, immersion liquid cooling can solve the heat dissipation problem of higher heat flux density, and does not require a server shell. The motherboard can be directly inserted into the refrigerant, as dense as it can be inserted. But the disadvantage of this method is that the server motherboard must be reformed. Therefore, when the heat flux density of a single cabinet in a data center further increases, immersion liquid cooling will be widely used.  

       Liquid-cooled servers have changed the form and usage mode of traditional computer products, solved the safety hazards of insufficient air-cooled heat dissipation of servers, and provided data center users with accurate cooling, efficient heat dissipation, energy saving and consumption reduction, silent and low noise, dynamic management, etc. The solution, therefore, has a very bright application prospect in the data center, and it will inevitably become the inevitable choice for the future data center. Its rise has provided a new development platform and opportunity for the development and improvement of high-performance servers in my country. The vigorous development of liquid cooling server systems and related technologies can change my country's high construction costs in the field of data centers, huge energy consumption during operations, and The status quo of serious waste has effectively promoted the health, safety, and rapid development of my country's data center industry, and will radiate the development of a large number of companies involving data center applications, and ultimately promote the development of data centers in the fields of government, business, education, and public security.
