Large Computing Accelerate The Development Of Liquid Cooling
The rapid development of the AI industry has led to a surge in demand for computing power. However, due to objective factors such as construction area, increasing the power density of individual cabinets has become a consensus solution to reconcile the rapid computing power demand with limited data center capacity. The power consumption of servers is increasing, the temperature is getting higher, and the space occupied is getting smaller.
Regarding the issue of high temperatures in data centers, air cooling has been the mainstream temperature control solution for data centers for a long time, using air as the cooling medium. The biggest difference between liquid cooling and air cooling is the different cooling media. "Liquid cooling" uses insulating low boiling point coolants such as mineral oil and fluorinated liquid as refrigerants, which discharge the heat from the server through heat exchange.
