Aluminum Zipper Fin Heat Pipe Heat Sink For LED

A heat pipe heat sink made with aluminum zipper fin is an efficient way to dissipate heat generated by LEDs. Heat pipes are an effective and efficient means of heat transfer, as they are able to conduct heat away from a source at a much higher rate than traditional materials, such as metal or plastic. Aluminum zipper fin heat pipes can be used to efficiently dissipate heat from LED chips.

By design, the aluminum zipper fin heat pipe works by convection to transfer heat away from the LED chip.
