What's more, folded fin heat sink can provide the less 60% thermal resistance, it's an excellent desing for high power applications. Copper plate aluminum folded fin heatsink is a perfect assembly thermal solution as utilizing the copper to contact the heat source since copper has a great thermal conductivity, aluminum has better heat dissipation ability so it's used to manufacture the folded fins to increase the thermal dissipation efficiency. This combination gathered the both advantages of copper and aluminum to improve the thermal performance.

Copper Plate Aluminum Folded Fin Heatsink Process benefits:

The fins can be constructed with high density, larger surface area and light weight; for single-piece welding, the grooves can be machined on the bottom plate and then the fins are embedded in the grooves for welding, and the density of the fins (the spacing can be up to 1mm) and the height can be up to 150mm.

2. The copper base can undergo complex mechanical processing, and a heat pipe or a vampor chamber can be embedded into the base to greatly improve the thermal performance;

3. The medium temperature soldering processing technology will not oxidize the surface of the heat sinks;
