Introduction of heat pipe heat exchanger system:

      The heat pipe is a two-phase heat transfer equipment with high effective thermal conductivity. The heat pipe can be embedded in the metal plate for heat exchange or assembled with the heat sink for fluid heat transfer. Due to the high heat conduction capacity, the heat exchanger with heat pipe is much smaller than the traditional heat exchanger in dealing with high heat flux. The heat pipe heat exchanger used for heat recovery equipment is designed to recover sensible heat. Compared with the traditional method, The advantage of using heat pipe heat exchanger is that it can transmit a large amount of heat through a small cross-section over a considerable distance without inputting any additional power to the system (except for the fan used to drive the air flow), and the design is simple and easy to manufacture.

Influence of heat pipe heat exchanger parameters:

   1. Heat pipe diameter: when other parameters remain unchanged, the heat exchange area will increase with the increase of heat pipe diameter, so the heat exchange will increase accordingly. Within a certain pipe diameter range, the increase of heat exchange is approximately linear with the change of pipe diameter. When the pipe diameter increases to a certain degree, the change rate and effect of heat exchange will gradually decrease, that is, the influence on heat exchange will become smaller.

   2.  Fin spacing: adding fins to heat pipe heat exchanger is a powerful means to enhance heat exchange. With the gradual increase of fin spacing, the number of fins per unit length decreases and the additional expansion area decreases, so the heat exchange decreases.

    3.Fin height: the heat exchange of heat pipe heat exchanger increases obviously with the increase of fin height, and when the fin height continues to increase, the increase of heat exchange will suddenly decrease. The ability of fin height to improve heat exchange is limited, and once it exceeds the limit, it will affect the heat transfer effect.

      Compared with the traditional fin heat exchanger, the heat pipe heat exchanger has higher heat exchange efficiency. Although the process requirements of the heat pipe heat exchanger are more exquisite than the traditional heat exchanger and more investment in the early stage, the energy-saving benefits behind it are more considerable. Compared with the traditional heat exchanger, the heat pipe heat exchanger has better thermal performance and heat exchange efficiency.
