Heatsink extrusions are manufactured by pushing the aluminum ingot through the steel tooling to make the custom shape, then cut off and machining for the specific dimensions; heatsink extrusions usually supplied with a surface finish such as black anodizing or clear anodizing to enhance its thermal performance. Production Process:

Extruded heatsinks are most widely used in thermal management for its most cost saving, lightweight, and good conductivity. Heatsink extrusions usually are manufactured by the below a few steps:

1. Pushing the aluminum billets through the steel die to get the extrusion shape

2. Cutting off and cross cut if needed

3. CNC machining to complete the specific dimensions and holes

4. Anodizing and packing
