Product Introduction

  The advantages in thermal performance

  At 25°C ambient, the thermal conductivity of air is only 0.024 W/mk, while that of water is 0.58 W/mk, which is more than 24 times than that of  air; also at 25°C, the specific heat capacity of air is 1012 J/(kg•K) , and the specific heat capacity of water is 4186 J/(kg•K), which is more than 4 times than that of air. That is to say, it takes more than 4°C of air to raise the temperature of water of the same quality by 1°C. Therefore, as the thermal conductivity and As a heat-absorbing medium, water is inherently superior to air.

 Based on water with high thermal conductivity and heat absorption efficiency as the cooling liquid, coupled with the large heat dissipation area, liquid cooling has inherent performance advantages over air cooling. Especially for some top graphics cards with high heat generation (such as GTX480), even if they are not overclocked, it is difficult to make them have an ideal temperature by relying on air-cooled radiators in summer. The full load temperature of the public version of GTX480 is often as high as 90°C or more when the room temperature is 25°C. , and changing to water cooling can make the full load temperature of the GTX480 SLI only 49 ℃ and 52 ℃.

  The advantages in noise

  Relying on the large cooling radiator or passive cooling metal water tank, the water cooling system only needs a very low fan speed to obtain sufficient cooling capacity. The low noise of several low-speed fans will not be several times than that of a low-speed fan, but only Slightly higher than a single low-speed fan, which is important for users who seek quietness. When the room temperature is low, some water cooling systems can even go without a fan, so liquid cooling system would create much less noises than air cooling system.
