  Heat pipes allow for more heat transfer than traditional heat sinks because they have an excellent thermal conductivity, with a thermal conductivity of up to 100,000 W/mK, heat pipes are the most efficient way to transfer heat.

   

  The high performance of the heat pipe heatsink comes from its unique design. Heat pipes are made of copper, aluminum or nickel known for their high thermal conductivity. The inside of the pipe is filled with working fluid, which is selected to match its working temperature, pressure and other parameters.

   

  When the temperature of the electronic components rises, the working fluid at the evaporator end evaporates and takes away the heat. The steam transfers heat to the condenser end where it condenses and releases heat. The condensed working fluid then flows back to the evaporator end by capillary in the wick structure.

   

  Heat pipe heat sinks are highly customizable to allow for various configurations including flat, round or triangular. It can be integrated into a power inverter design or installed as a separate component. Heatpipe radiators are lightweight and the ideal solution for applications requiring high thermal performance.
